It was very good to eat there before. Out of shape! Red class, stir-fried vegetablesIt’s too far gone to eat now. Shrimp paste chicken wings were so bad, not hot

Overall all food is good, value for money. Fish quite fresh and in big size (if cut into small pieces and cook in steamboat fish will disappear). Lady boss very hardworking, serve customer, mop the table and friendly. Atmosphere 3 stars, this is understandable because non Aircon, if aircon the price will be up, this is chicken and egg. I prefer no Aircon with affordable price. 5 stars to the shop, thumbs up.

Awesome soup base which is really tasty and flavourful. The hae chou and the prawns were just alright. Will return only for the fish soup. Cannot expect too much of the atmosphere as this place is a non-aircon shop house so it can get very warm.

The place was crowded during dinner time. There were 2 queues to be queue , one queue was to get a table, for those with less pax may get their tables faster depending on availability. After getting a table, you have to join another queue inside the shop to order your food. The food was mediocre, nothing much extraordinary. The place is a old school kopitiam. The red grouper fishhead steamboat, the fishhead was tough; sambal kangkong was okay, not too salty; the toufu chilli prawn was fresh. They served the kangkong too slow, served it last when we nearly finished the rice, so we just eat the vege without the rice, lucky it was not so salty.

The food is really mediocre at best- only the prawn paste chicken was good. Even the fish head steamboat was very average. I feel the worst part was the bad service and the nonchalant attitude of the staff. However, the good thing about this place is the affordability and portion size is quite generous for the price.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The soup were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with just the right texture. The highlight, however, was the Hay Zho—they were incredibly fresh, with a satisfying chewiness that added a perfect contrast to the softness of the dish.Overall, it’s a highly recommended spot for anyone looking to enjoy a simple yet flavorful meal. I’ll definitely be returning!

One of the best fish soup I've had. The soup was very flavourful and delicious. Ordered a few other dishes too. Kangkong was good! Didn't really like the coffee ribs as it tasted a little burnt. Would come here again!
